Melanie Garcia is a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant who brings energy, compassion, and a patient-centered approach to every session. She is passionate about helping patients build confidence in their movement while creating a supportive and motivating environment where individuals feel encouraged to reach their full potential.
Melanie has experience working in outpatient settings, assisted living, and home health, allowing her to adapt her care to a wide range of patient needs. Prior to becoming a PTA, she worked as a rehab technician, where she developed a strong foundation in hands-on patient care and teamwork.
She is known for building genuine connections with her patients and takes pride in finding what motivates each individual. Melanie strives to make therapy both effective and enjoyable—pushing patients to be their best while keeping sessions engaging and personalized.
Originally from Roswell, New Mexico, Melanie later moved to Denison, Texas, where she graduated high school, and most recently spent time working in Fort Worth before joining Optimum Health & Wellness. She values integrity, courage, and adaptability—qualities that guide both her clinical work and everyday life.
Outside of the clinic, Melanie enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and her puppy, Scout. She loves watching TV and movies, playing volleyball, and unwinding with her favorite comfort shows like Ugly Betty, Full House, and The Nanny.
Guided by her belief that “life is like a box of chocolates—you never know what you’re gonna get,” Melanie embraces each day with positivity, flexibility, and a sense of humor.
