Katharine Hawes serves as a Client Services Representative at Optimum Health & Wellness, where she helps ensure the clinic runs smoothly for both patients and staff. She manages scheduling, answers patient calls, assists with check-in and check-out, and helps coordinate the daily flow of the clinic so patients feel welcomed and supported from the moment they arrive.
Katharine has more than five years of customer service experience working directly with the public and loves the opportunity to advance her clerical skills at Optimum. Her background in retail has helped her develop strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, along with a genuine ability to connect with people. She believes that healthcare should address the whole person — not just symptoms — and she values compassionate care that includes helping people feel comfortable, heard, and understood.
She was drawn to Optimum Health & Wellness because of its comprehensive approach to health and its commitment to helping people improve their quality of life. Katharine appreciates being part of a team that prioritizes patient-centered care and a supportive environment.
Her personal values are rooted in faith, integrity, and compassion, which guide both her work and relationships with others. Outside of the clinic, Katherine enjoys crafting and creating beautiful functional art with yarn (which you may occasionally see her wearing), participating in church activities, and continuing to grow in her faith and personal development.
She strives to live by Proverbs 3:5-6 which states, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and He will make your paths straight.”
