We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Acupuncturist (L.Ac.) to join our healthcare team. Compensation: $50 – $70/hour

Qualifications:
  • Current, valid state licensure and certification in acupuncture (L.Ac. or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 5 years proven experience as an Acupuncturist (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of acupuncture points, meridians, and traditional Chinese medicine practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients and treatments.
  • Compassionate, client-centered approach to care.
  • Ability to maintain a calm, welcoming, and healing environment.
  • Additional certifications in specialized acupuncture techniques (e.g., electroacupuncture, facial acupuncture).
  • Experience in a multidisciplinary clinic or wellness center.
  • Knowledge of herbal medicine or other complementary therapies.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough consultations with clients to assess health needs and determine appropriate acupuncture treatments.
  • Create personalized treatment plans tailored to client conditions and wellness goals.
  • Advise clients on lifestyle changes to complement acupuncture treatments.
  • Administer acupuncture sessions, ensuring client comfort and safety.
  • Utilize traditional techniques such as needling, cupping, and moxibustion.
  • Educate clients about acupuncture, benefits, and holistic wellness practices.
  • Maintain accurate treatment plans, progress notes, and patient records.
  • Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and provide follow-up care.
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations, HIPAA, and sanitation standards.
  • Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe treatment environment.
  • Collaborate with massage therapists, physical therapists, chiropractors, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care.
  • Stay current with research, trends, and new techniques in acupuncture and alternative medicine.
  • Promote acupuncture services and other practice offerings to new and existing clients.
  • Assist with client payments and encourage package sales for ongoing care.
Skills:
  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods during treatments.
  • Comfort working with needles and acupuncture tools.
  • Ability to lift and carry light equipment as needed.
